So here is the newest addition to our family. Meet our sweet little Lacey. She just showed up on my porch one night about a week and a half ago. I have no clue from where she came. According to our veterinarian, she is about 10 weeks old now. She had a fabulous mane but I had to trim it because her fur was all matted. I can't wait for it to grow back in.
She looks mighty comfortable on my laptop keyboard, doesn't she? I love the look on her face here. It's like she's saying, "excuse me, I think you need to pay me some attention".
She loves playing with ribbon so her name was a natural jump from there. Lacey is the softest little furball and the moment you pet her, she purrs. Her fur has a grey tinge to it and she has a small white spot on her lower abdomen. She's made herself at home in our house and hearts.
And here we have a little monkey see, monkey do. Callie couldn't wait for Lacey to vacate the keyboard so she could get some attention for herself.

Oh, what a cutie! That face, that expression....she reminds me of my late, great kitty, just fuzzier. Full of love and attitude, but what cat isn't?
Maybe she knew the storm was coming and that she needed your loving home and family to keep her safe.
